PC gamers have got two big releases this week. Yesterday we had Vampyr, while next Tuesday sees the arrival of Frontier’s Jurassic World Evolution, AKA the nailed-on Game of the Year. Maybe. Nvidia has marked their launches with the new GeForce 398.11 WHQL graphics card driver, providing day one Game Ready driver support for optimal performance.
Thanks to Nvidia, we've got the full system requirements for next week's Jurassic World Evolution. Last time around we only had the minimum specs but now we've got the recommended PC hardware for JW: Evolution. As expected, they fall closely in line with Frontier's other management sim, Planet Coaster. We've added the full system requirements to the original article below.
Frontier has finally begun teasing out a little more information on its upcoming dinosaur park builder, Jurassic World Evolution. Sadly, it’s not all good news. Despite Planet Coaster’s impeccable Steam Workshop integration, Jurassic World Evolution won’t have mod support at launch. That’s according to German magazine PC Games, which has the scoop on Frontier’s scaled back ambitions.
Frontier Developments has been holding a behind-the-scenes preview at Universal of Jurassic World: Evolution, its upcoming theme park builder with a deadly, sharp-toothed twist. All the info provided is actually under embargo until March 29th, but some sneaky so and so managed to grab a snap if its release date.
Frontier has revealed a new in-game trailer for its marriage made in heaven - Jurassic World Evolution. Building on the immense customisation toolset Frontier has mastered with Planet Coaster, Jurassic World Evolution provides players with the opportunity to reign over their own Jurassic Park, Richard Attenborough-style. Life will always find a way though, so you’d best be prepared for a few mishaps. All the planning in the world can’t account for a clumsy Dennis Nedry.
Sometimes, the universe aligns just right. When Frontier revealed last year that it was working on a tie-in with a big 2018 movie, I hoped beyond hope that it was Jurassic World. Well, prayers answered. Planet Coaster and Elite Dangerous developer Frontier Developments has officially unveiled Jurassic World Evolution, an all-new park management sim set on Isla Nublar and the Muertes Archipelago.
